CALOSTAT® Sandwich passes fire safety tests as specified in DIN EN 13501-1

CALOSTAT® Sandwich MW, CALOSTAT® Sandwich MW-F, and CALOSTAT® Sandwich F, all new variants of the high-performance insulation material from Evonik, have passed the fire safety tests specified in DIN EN 13501-1 and have been classified as A2-S1, d0.

The tests were carried out in October 2019 by the Materialprüfanstalt für das Bauwesen (Institute of Materials Testing for Civil Engineering) in Braunschweig.

For Dr. Gabriele Gärtner, head of Technical Service for mineral insulating materials at Evonik, the result confirms her in her convictions: “If you expect top performance in insulation and fire safety, you’d be well advised to choose CALOSTAT®.
